Founded in 1951, Donghua University (DU) is a public research university located in Shanghai. DU provides its national and foreign students with quality instruction. It has 13 colleges and institutions, 54 undergraduate programs, 59 master’s degree programs, 30 doctoral degree programs, and 5 postdoctoral research programs, including 6 key disciplines in the state and 7 key disciplines in the municipality of Shanghai. Under the Chinese Government Scholarship to pursue postgraduate degree programs, Donghua University offers almost all academic fields and majors. The length of the bachelor’s degree is 4 years, 2.5-3 years for the master’s degree, and 4 years for the doctoral degree. Eligibility for Scholarship:

(Non-Chinese) foreign nationals with strong physical and mental fitness.
Master’s applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree; at the time of admission, they do not reach 35 years of age.
PhD applicants must hold a Master’s Degree and at the time of admission, they do not reach the age of 40 years. All members need to be in good health.
