Financial Benefits for the University of Malaya Bright Scholarship:
The University of Malaysia will cover expenses of tuition fees and stipend for intersting students to study in Malaysia.
- Stipend: RM3,500/month for 42 months
- Tuition Fee: Fee waiver throughout 7 semesters
Note: Other Expenses like Insurance, visas, flight tickets, medical examinations, and accommodation cost is not covered by University of Malaya.

Eligibility Criteria:
- International Students are elible.
- Applicants must the age should not exceed 30 years at a time of application.
- Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA >3.70 (or other recognized equivalent qualification).
- Master’s degree by research; or Master’s Degree through mixed mode (coursework and dissertation) with honors and a CGPA of at least 3.70/4.00.
- Non Citizen must have English requirementsI: ELTS (Academic) with a score of at least 6.5.
- Must have TOEFL 73-93
- Must have CEFR B2
Required Documents:
- Passport size photo
- Completed UMES application form
- Copy of Applicant’s Identity Card
- All Copies of certificates and academic transcripts at the Bachelor’s Degree level
- Proof of publication (first page only)
- Must have Copies of certificates and academic transcripts at the Master’s Degree level
- A valid IELTS/TOEFL/CEFR certificate is required for not more than 2 years at time of Exam.
