Research Scholarships:
Under this Program, an applicant has full freedom he/she applies to any field of study to continue their education in different courses in applied sciences, Swiss cantonal universities, two federal institutes of technology, and four research institutes.
Art Scholarships:
This scholarship is specially announced for Master’s students. Art scholarship holders can apply at any Swiss conservatory or university of arts.
Eligibility Criteria:
- International students are eligible for the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships 2025-26.
- An applicant must have a master’s degree equivalent to a Swiss master’s degree required for Ph.D. and Post-doc.
- The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree equivalent to the Swiss bachelor’s degree for a Master’s degree.
- Applicants residing in Switzerland for over a year are not eligible to apply for Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships.
- Students are not eligible if they already received a grant from the Swiss Government.
