Pakistani Students are advised to apply for the HEC Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship 2024-25 in Hungary. Students from all areas of Pakistan as well as J&K National can apply for Fully Funded Scholarships to pursue Undergraduate Degree Programs, Master’s Degrees, and PhD Degree Programs. No Application Fee is charged to Students. All the Academic Fields of specialization Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts, Humanities, Business, Engineering Sciences, Computer, Information Technology, and History are available in different institutes in Hungary. Higher Education Commission (HEC) offered this Scholarship every year for Pakistani/AJ&K Students with the collaboration of the Hungarian Government. All the Universities of Hungary are available for this scholarship so Students do not need to apply separately in Hungary. Just apply on the HEC portal and all procedure is handled by HEC itself.

Scholarship Coverage:

- Monthly stipend:
- For Undergraduates amount of HUF 43,700/Month Including monthly living expenses, for 12 months a year, During all studies.
Note: In the first year of study, non-doctoral students attend the course of “Hungarian Language” offered by the host university, Scholarship holders who do not complete the course will not be able to receive the monthly stipend. The monthly stipend for students will be reduced to 30,000 HUF/month if they do not pass.

Scholarship Duration:
- For Undergraduate Programs, Duration is 4-5 years
- One-Tier Master’s Program after 12 years of education is 5-6 Years.
- Master’s Programs After 16 years of education the duration is 2-3 years.
- PhD Degree Programs after 17/18 years of education is 3-4 years.

Eligibility For Scholarship:
- All Pakistani/AJ&K Students can apply.
- The age limit is 18-22 years for Bachelor’s, and the age is not More than 35 years for postgraduate Master’s (18 years) and PhD programs on January 16, 2024.
- For PhD programs, full-time employees of public sector Universities, Colleges, and R&D organizations age not More than 40 years
- For Undergraduate Program and One-Tier Master’s degree HSSC/Intermediate or equivalent to 12 Years of Education.
- For a Master 16 years of Bachelor’s or equivalent Degree.
- For PhD Programs must have completed 18 years of Degree or equivalent.
- The Students Complete the Hungary application form and HEC application form and Never any box should be left empty.
- Certificates/Transcript/Degrees to be uploaded must be attested by IBCC and HEC. Equivalence Certificate of O & A level from IBCC.
- IELTS/TOEFL is required for Some universities.
- Applicants will meet the requirements set by the host Hungarian university /HEC of Pakistan.
- In case of final selection candidate will submit a bond agreement.
Ineligibility for Scholarship:
- Hungarian citizens including those with dual citizenships.
- Applications put wrong information, even if is pointed out that after the scholarship is awarded the scholarship will be canceled.
Required Documents for Scholarship:
- Online Application Form
- Both HEC and Hungarian application forms.
- Fill out and save all information on the online application form in English
- A passport-size recent photo of the applicant will be uploaded.
- Motivation Letter/ Statement of Purpose
- Minimum one page, in Times New Roman 12 font size letters written in the English Language.
- English Proficiency Certificate
- A scanned copy of the language proficiency Certificate
- If the previous study is in English then no need for IELTS/TOFEL
- Educational Degrees/Transcripts/Certificates
- For Undergraduate scanned copy HSSC or Equivalent Certificate
- For Master programs scanned copy of the original bachelor’s Transcript and Degree certificate or equivalent.

Application Procedure for HEC Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship:
All the application process is online Students are advised to apply online before the last date. Read all the steps before applying:
- Submit an application on Both the HEC portal and the Hungarian Website.
- Hard copies of applications are not required at the initial stage.
- After selection required to submit Hard copies of both applications with documents.
Step 1: Online Application on Hungarian Website
All the students requested to submit an online application by opening this link creating an account filling the application also uploading documents.

Step 2: HEC Online Application:
- Register yourself at the HEC portal and complete your Profile by filling in all the information and documents.
- Then Apply online at the HEC website: https://eportal.hec.gov.pk/arl. Select “Academic & Research Linkages” in the “Scholarship and Grant” present in the left-hand side panel of the HEC portal. Before applying to the HEC website,
- Upload a scanned copy of the deposit slip of RS. 1000 only on the HEC online bank Account Number. 17427900133401 in HBL Branch Sector H-9, Islamabad.
- All payments are submitted through the HBL online facility. You can deposit this in all branches of Habib Bank Ltd (HBL), Pakistan.
