Scholarship Coverage:
Scholarships are offered for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as international students. A substantial sum is provided as a scholarship reward. The scholarship will be awarded only on the basis of merit. You can see how the scholarship is awarded in the following description:
- If your grade point average is 90 percent to 100 percent, you will receive $60,000 to $15,000 in the first year, with the possibility of an increase in subsequent years if the level is maintained.
- If your grade point average is between 80% and 89.9%, you will be rewarded $10,000 to $40,000 in the first year, with the amount increasing in consecutive years if the level is maintained.
- Your average score/percentage is automatically determined using the Global Education Services tables based on the equivalent of your GPA, and your GPA of 7.5 equals 80% of your average.
- These curricula will not involve forensics, orthopedics, human kinetics, architecture, teaching, or mechanical engineering.

Eligibility for Scholarship:
The GTA for MSc students in 2020-2021 is $9180. The GTA for Ph.D. students in 2020-2021 is $13, 307. Laurentian University graduate students are paid $6,651 per week and $6,656 in installments.
Students who are chosen must labor 10 hours every week. The GTA is only offered to first-year students enrolled in Master’s degree programs or full-time Ph.D. programs. To study at Laurentian University, students must meet the GTA eligibility conditions and obtain an admit card. If a session admits card has already been provided. The following stage of registration occurs throughout the academic year’s autumn and winter semesters.
To be eligible for a Masters Teaching Assistant (GTA), you must first:
- Applicants must register for classes full-time.
- Master’s Degree Duration: Two Years, Ph.D. Character: Four Years
